Dear Diane,

Well, you did it again. Except this time it was on short notice! I wanted to let you know that the trip you arranged to Turkey for us and the Israelsons was one of the best we have ever taken! My wife, Gail, and Don and Nancy Israelson have traveled all over the world - on six continents. We have never received the level of attention and service that we received on this trip to Turkey.

The best part of this trip was the company of our tour guide, Lale Kosagan. Lale was exceptionally knowledgeable about the sites we visited, the history of Turkey, and human nature in general. She took care of all of our arrangements so that we never had any problems. Infact, not only didn't we have any problems, we didn't have to do anything at all. Furthermore, she laughed at our jokes! Lale's company, guidance, and the information she gave us were the highlights of the trip.

Please make sure that the tour company in Turkey gets a copy of this letter. I want to make sure that they know what a gem they have in Lale. If you have the occasion to arrange similar trips to Turkey, make sure to ask for Lale as the tour guide. Your clients could not possibly do better!

Again, thanks for all of your help in making the arrangements for this trip. Even though it was on short notice, it couldn't have been any better if it had taken months to plan. Thank you for putting it together for us.

"Hi Lale, I often think of my trip to Turkey, you, and everything we saw and experienced. I especially hold dear the memory of us in that big amphitheater with you and those little boys singing to us. You were so far away but we could hear every word so clearly. I ofter remember how you rearranged our schedule so we could experience more of Turkey and get to see sights that tourists don't get to experience. That was so sweet of you and I know it was not an easy thing for you to do, but I really appreciated it. You spent so much extra time and energy with our group, it was very kind of you. You could not have been more helpful, informative, fun, and accomodating. YOU made our trip fantastic and one I will never forget. I still have some of that Apple Tea! that I purchased at the market and only my "good" or "extra special friends" get to taste it.

I would love to come back to Turkey and if you hear of any "good deals", please let me know. I'll be over in a flash if I can get the time off and the money to travel.

"Dear Lale, when we left the U.S. people asked us "Why are you going there- they hate Americans and/or Christians?" The people of Turkey have been wondeful.

The farm lady who invited us into her home; the young teacher at the village school; the moms who fixed our lunch with such lovely smiles; the people picking cotton who stopped to visit in the fileds... So I guess I must say the Turkish people have been extremely wonderful to us and that give me my best memory. The natural wonders, ancient ruins and lovely farm areas plus the exciting big cities have been more than we hoped for.

You have always been helpful and make this once in a lifetime trip so special for us all.

Thanks again for your important role in our trip.
