I was born in Istanbul on a cold January night 30 years ago. I spent my childhood in lovely Kadikoy, the residential part of Istanbul on the Asian side.
After the primary school my parents wanted me to study at a private school because of the higher quality education. The admission was very competitive; only 2000 lucky kids were selected every year out of 200,000. I took the famous two entrance exams, which shaped my life. I still remember how my friends knocked on my door, screaming: "You made it, yes you made, you luck you!"
Yes I made it. I was placed to one of the best High Schools of Turkey, St. George Austrian High School, which is on top 5 High schools of the country. Another good news; I became the 47th of the whole list, which means I disqualified ca. 199,953 students! That was my best score of all!
Anyway I spend 8 years at this high quality, Austrian-minded school and I learned German and English and I also learned how to be independent. These years opened my horizon and made me a very mature young man.
I studied at Bosphorus University, Tourism and Hotel Management (I was on the Honor List of the Dean) then Political Science.
I finished 2 guiding schools and got my professional guiding license in English and German languages.
I am still leading tours in Turkey, and also all over the world.
My favorite cities in the world are Istanbul, Prague, and San Francisco. And I am trying to spend as much time as possible in these 3 world cities!
